MAIN INGREDIENT:
Sulfadiazine Sodium and trimethoprim.
PROPERTY:
Colorless to light yellow tran***rent liquid.
INDICATIONS:
Applicable to general infections caused by livestock sensitive bacteria, such as respiratory tract, urinary tract infection and mastitis, endometritis, peritonitis, meningitis etc.; it has curative effects on toxplasmosis in pigs.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular injection: pro dose/1kg of body weight : 0.22~0.33ml for livestock; once or twice every day for consecutively 2~3 days.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Mainly present as acute reactions such as anaphylactic reaction. Chronic reactions include granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, liver damage, renal injury as well as central nervous toxicity reaction. It is easy to deposit in urine. Long-term or large doses application is easy to cause crystallization urine.
PRECAUTIONS:
1.This product can precipitate crystallization in case of acids. Thus it not appropriate to dilute with 5% glucose liquid.
2.Long-term or large doses application can easily cause crystallization urine. Sodium bicarbonate should be applied simultaneously. Livestock should take great amount of water.
3.If any allergic reactions or other serious adverse reactions occur, stop taking the drug immediately and apply symptomatic treatment.
